The project "Digital Technologies and User Experience in the Healthcare Sector of the Republic of Croatia" - DIGIZ is aimed at researching the application and availability of digital technologies in the healthcare sector of the Republic of Croatia through the prism of the user experience of patients and healthcare professionals. The project aims to analyse the perception, level of knowledge and use of digital healthcare services in Croatia. The project will begin with a systematic review of relevant scientific literature in order to identify existing digital technologies and services in the healthcare sector. The digital presence of healthcare institutions via social networks, mobile applications and official websites will then be analysed. Through publicly available sources, survey research and, if necessary, focus groups or interviews, the application and availability of digital technologies in the Croatian healthcare sector will be mapped. The ultimate goal of the project is to develop a digital user experience index in the healthcare sector that will enable measurement of the level of digital development, accessibility and maturity of the healthcare system from the perspective of end users (patients and healthcare professionals). The digital component of the project includes the use of digital platforms for data collection, software tools for statistical and visual analysis, and the development of an open digital dataset and an interactive online tool for displaying index results, whereby the project will actively contribute to digital science and data openness. The project results can also serve as a basis for improving the digital transformation of healthcare services in Croatia.
