Dalia Suša Vugec, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. Her work integrates business informatics, business process management and automation, knowledge management, social computing, digital literacy, and the application of artificial intelligence in organizational and societal contexts. She continuously develops her expertise through specialised training in applied AI, data visualisation, advanced statistical methods, and research methodology at internationally recognised institutions. She actively participates in national and international research projects, including initiatives focused on digital transformation, process intelligence, competitiveness, and labour market analytics, as well as projects that promote the development of advanced digital skills and tools in higher education. She has published more than 50 scientific papers and contributed chapters to books and university textbooks, and she serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals and conferences. In teaching, she delivers undergraduate and graduate courses related to digital technologies and artificial intelligence and supervises bachelor’s and master’s theses in the areas of digital transformation, user experience, and applied AI, including within the healthcare sector. She has received multiple institutional awards for teaching excellence and research productivity.
